Railway Human Factors Inspector — Safety & Risk

The Office of Rail and Road is seeking a HM Inspector of Railway Human Factors Specialist to join the Railway Safety Directorate. This role can be based at London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, York, or Glasgow, with hybrid working requiring a minimum of two days in a workplace.

You will provide Human Factors expertise through inspections, investigations and liaison, focusing on workload, fatigue, non‑technical skills and risk management across Britain’s railways.
