Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer; the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT.

Job title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 pa

39 hours basic working week

31 days leave inc Bank holiday

Benefits: Pension, free parking

Responsibilities

The role is to produce design and detailed drawings of the parts and assemblies that make up the machinery.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of using a modern 3D design software package preferable Solidworks
• Knowledge of engineering manufacture processes and materials
• Understanding of engineering practices, including fits and tolerances
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors and actuators
