Overview

Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) – Location: Kidderminster. Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent. Salary: 43,000 + shift allowance.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team in Kidderminster.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including die-casting machines, furnaces, robots and presses, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience within a heavy manufacturing or die-casting environment is highly desirable.
• Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
• Forklift and crane licences would be beneficial.
