Mechanical Supervisor in Leeds

Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established and successful Mechanical and Electrical Contractor, with a reputation for delivering high quality M&E installations on high value new build developments. Working alongside Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical packages from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site.




• Manage and monitor subcontractors, direct labour and site activities.




• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.




• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress against project schedules.




• Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers and other stakeholders.




• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.




• Support commissioning activities and project handover processes.




• Maintain accurate site records and reporting documentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Mechanical Supervisor within the Construction industry.




• Proven experience delivering mechanical installations on new-build and/or refurbishment projects.




• Strong understanding of mechanical building services.




• Valid SSSTS.




• Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.




• Ability to manage trades and work effectively within project teams.
