We are seeking a highly skilled lawyer to join our dynamic and supportive team. As a Senior Solicitor you will handle complex cases from start to finish, corresponding with clients and experts, providing clear guidance and maintaining relationships.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers
- Proactive and commercial case management and progression
- Support the Team Leader in ensuring delivery of the team’s financial performance KPIs
- Effective and thorough time recording
Responsible For
- Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and members of the team
- Identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service within the team
- Working with the team to ensure relevant information is collected and collated to enable progression of the case
- Managing a caseload proactively and commercially
- Co‑ordinating the progression of cases with all internal and external parties
- Drafting legal documentation including LOC, letters of instruction
- Negotiating settlement and issuing and serving proceedings if required
- Overseeing documentation and correspondence produced by the team
- Advising the team on any technical issues arising
Essential Skills and Experience
- Recent experience handling a case load
- 8+ years PQE / equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Excellent IT skills, especially Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong commercial awareness in a legal environment
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
- Flexibility and willingness to commit to meeting deadlines
- Excellent client care skills
