Job Description:

If so, join us as an Operations Support Technician within our Repairs & Maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Works to be carried out using the Gutter vacuum/ladders to clean, maintain and repair the gutters on Midland Heart properties.
  • Clearing and collecting waste and household items from both void and occupied properties, ensuring materials are disposed of responsibly and transferred to recycling facilities where appropriate.
  • Supporting the upkeep of Midland Heart depots whilst carrying out basic building maintenance, lamp replacements, housekeeping activities, and facilities management tasks.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance works including drainage, fencing, and paving repairs and replacements.
  • Conducting building safety and compliance checks and supporting the management of skips, recycling facilities, and depot operations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, inspections undertaken, incidents, and risk assessments.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Providing excellent customer service and supporting a positive experience for tenants and colleagues.
  • Contributing to the achievement of service standards, productivity targets, and operational KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Experience carrying out minor building maintenance, environmental services, grounds maintenance, or similar practical work.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, or light machinery in a work environment.
  • Experience working independently while managing workloads, tasks, or service requests effectively.
