Overview

Research Project Administrator for the School for Arts and Humanities. Full‑time, fixed‑term position (12 months, initial funding). Managed through the Centre for Research in the Arts Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH) and deployed to project teams within the School.

Responsibilities

Provide tailored coordination, event and budget planning support to ensure smooth operation of projects. Create project outlines and plans, monitor milestones and report progress. Coordinate and support expenditure against budgets, flag financial risks and ensure funds are used in line with funder and university guidelines. Coordinate project teams and partner institutions, including other universities, museums and not‑for‑profit organizations.

Qualifications

Experience in finance and budgeting (essential). Experience in project management and delivery (advantage). Well‑organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively. Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive working relationships with administrators, research staff and stakeholders. Strong problem‑solving skills and initiative. Positive, flexible approach.

Benefits

Salary: £31,236 to £35,608 per annum. Full‑time employment.
