AsCommercialManager,youwillleadallcommercial,contractual,procurement,andfinancialaspectsofaportfolioofmajorconstructionprojects.Workingcloselywithoperationalteams,clients,andsupplychainpartners,youwilldriveprofitability,managerisk,andensureprojectsaredeliveredsuccessfullyfrominceptionthroughtofinalaccount.
Role Responsibilities
- Leadprojectandportfoliocommercialmanagementacrossmultipleliveprojects.
- Managecontracts,claims,variations,risk,andcompliance.
- Overseecostcontrol,forecasting,cashflow,valuations,andfinancialreporting.
- Developprocurementstrategiesandnegotiatesubcontractorandsupplieragreements.
- Supportprojectdeliveryteamswithvalueengineeringandcommercialadvice.
- Buildstrongclientandstakeholderrelationshipsandactasthecommerciallead.
- Identifyandmitigatecommercialriskswhilemaximisingopportunities.
- Lead,mentor,anddevelopateamofQuantitySurveyors,includinglinemanagementresponsibilities.
Qualifications
- DegreequalifiedinQuantitySurveying,ConstructionManagement,orarelateddiscipline.
- ProvenexperienceasaCommercialManagermanagingmultipleprojectsandQSteams.
- Strongknowledgeofconstructioncontracts(FIDIC,JCT,orsimilar).
- Excellentcommercialacumen,negotiation,andstakeholdermanagementskills.
- Strongleadershipexperiencewiththeabilitytodevelopandmotivateteams.
- MembershipofRICS,CIOB,orsimilarisdesirable.
- Amaster’sdegreeinConstructionLaworarelatedfieldwouldbeadvantageous.
