Salary: £35,000 – 35,000 per year

Requirements

  • We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual who is ready to take ownership of a complex transformation project.
  • You will have a Masters degree in a relevant subject, such as supply chain management, operations, logistics, business analytics or a closely related discipline.
  • You will bring practical experience or demonstrable understanding of supply chain or warehouse operations.
  • You will have a clear interest in how digital tools can be used to drive performance improvements.
  • You will be an effective communicator who can build strong working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • You will have the confidence and interpersonal skills to engage people at all levels, explain complex ideas clearly, and bring others with you through change.
  • You will be proactive, solutions-focused and commercially aware.
  • You should be comfortable taking initiative, working independently and making decisions while also recognising when to seek input and collaborate.
  • An interest in emerging technologies such as AI, data analytics or ERP systems would be highly beneficial.
  • Awareness of sustainability and ESG considerations in supply chains would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • We will employ you as a KTP Associate to deliver a high‑impact 24‑month Knowledge Transfer Partnership project.
  • You will work at Ocean Kings premises in Derby and under the companys terms and conditions.
  • You will lead a major digital transformation programme using ERP systems, AI and advanced analytics to modernise supply chain, warehouse and logistics operations.
  • You will take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from diagnosing current operations through to designing, implementing and embedding innovative solutions.
  • You will improve efficiency, sustainability and commercial performance.
  • You will manage and deliver a challenging, strategically important project in collaboration with academic mentors and company support.
  • You will transfer academic expertise into a real‑world business environment.
  • You will engage directly with senior decision‑makers and lead strategic digital transformation at scale.
  • You will collaborate with senior managers, operational teams, academic experts and senior partners.
  • You will explain complex ideas clearly and support change across the organisation.
  • You will work independently while also seeking input and collaborating when needed.
