Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to support high-profile Corporate, Litigation and Finance teams within a prestigious international law firm.

This is a highly visible role, partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships, elevate market profile and support the pursuit of new business opportunities.

The Role

You will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic marketing and business development plans, while acting as a trusted advisor to partners and fee earners across several leading practice areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of client pitches, proposals and RFP responses.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development and marketing plans.
  • Manage client and prospect targeting programmes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver high-quality marketing collateral, thought leadership campaigns and external communications.
  • Organise and execute high-profile client events, seminars and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Manage directory and award submissions, helping to maintain and enhance market rankings.
  • Conduct market, competitor and client research to support business development activity.
  • Drive cross-selling initiatives and identify opportunities to increase client engagement and revenue.

About You

  • 7+ years’ marketing and business development experience, ideally within legal or professional services.
  • Strong pitch, proposal and stakeholder management expertise.
  • Exceptional communication, writing and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and highly organised.
  • Experience using CRM systems and marketing technology platforms is advantageous.
