Senior Software Engineer II – Scam Prevention (Backend)

Wise in London is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Scam Prevention team. This high‑impact role focuses on building robust controls and detection systems to protect our global customers and fight financial crime.

You will work mostly on the backend (about 80%) with some frontend work (20%), collaborate across Product, Data Science and Investigations, and apply best practices like CI/CD, TDD, and scalable design to deliver real, measurable impact on money safety and product growth.
