You will lead the development of Chip Financial Ltd’s unique Lombard lending platform, shaping architecture and establishing engineering best practices. Working with Java and Spring Boot, you’ll design cloud-native microservices and event-driven systems. What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain resilient backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a cloud-native, microservices-driven environment.
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using message brokers and asynchronous processing to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership and DevOps to optimize CI/CD pipelines and define architectural patterns for long-term maintainability.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses over 7 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership or mentoring role.
- Demonstrates deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and building distributed systems with a strong focus on fault tolerance and consistency.
- Has a proven track record of designing and operating cloud-native microservices, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.
