About the job
Organisations across all industries are navigating increasingly complex technology and transformation agendas, often needing clear, pragmatic advice to help them make confident decisions and turn ambition into action. Senior leaders are looking for advisors who can frame problems effectively, bring clarity through insight, and shape realistic pathways to change.
We are seeking Manager and Senior Manager‑level consultants who bring strong generalist consulting capability, credibility with senior stakeholders and a solid grasp of modern technology landscapes. You will play a key role in leading client engagements, shaping advisory work, supporting go‑to‑market activity and helping clients progress from insight to delivery. This role suits individuals who are intellectually curious, commercially aware and comfortable working across multiple contexts, industries and technologies, adapting quickly as client needs evolve.
Hybrid Working
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it is a blend of company offices, client sites and your home, noting that you will not be able to work from home 100% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Lead short, focused consulting engagements such as discoveries, assessments and business cases.
- Engage confidently with senior client stakeholders, shaping discussions and building trust.
- Produce high‑quality, client‑ready outputs that clearly articulate insight, options and recommendations.
- Work across multiple industries, tailoring approaches to different client environments.
- Identify opportunities to extend advisory work into broader transformation and delivery engagements.
- Collaborate effectively with delivery teams, SMEs and partners across Capgemini.
- Lead and deliver front‑end advisory engagements, helping clients understand challenges, options and next steps.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, combining consulting judgement with technology awareness.
- Shape engagement scope, approach and outputs, ensuring work is commercially sound and outcome‑focused.
- Support the transition from advisory into larger transformation, delivery and managed services programmes.
- Contribute to practice growth, including go‑to‑market activity, proposition development and mentoring.
- Continuously develop skills of the future, staying current across technology, ways of working and consulting approaches.
Qualifications
- Experience in a consulting or advisory role at Manager or Senior Manager level.
- Proven ability to lead ambiguous, front‑end consulting work from problem definition through to recommendations.
- A good grasp of technology and digital concepts, with experience in Enterprise Service Management (ESM) and Employee Experience, Cloud and infrastructure services, Engagement management and service operations, Data centre transformation and networks, Cybersecurity and resilience, Data, analytics and AI‑enabled decision making.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills, translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience contributing to business development activity, including client conversations, proposals and credentials.
- A learning mindset, with the ability to pick up new topics quickly and stay relevant as client needs and technologies evolve.
Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role you must obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. Applicants must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last five years and meet other statutory criteria. The recruitment process will include questions about your eligibility for security clearance, citizenship, and pre‑employment mandatory checks such as identity, nationality, employment history and criminal record checks (Disclosure and Barring Service).
Disability Confident Employer
Capgemini is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer (Level 2) under the UK Government’s Disability Confident scheme. As part of our commitment to inclusive recruitment, we will offer an interview to all candidates who declare they have a disability and who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role.

You will join an accredited Great Place to Work for Wellbeing in 2024. Employee wellbeing is vitally important to us; we have trained Mental Health Champions across our business areas and invested in wellbeing apps such as Thrive and Peppy.
