We have an exciting opportunity for a Inspect and Collect driver to join our specialist Motorfreight division operating from our Ballynure Head Office, serving the motor industry, including manufacturers, dealer networks, auction houses and end users throughout the UK & Ireland.
The Person

The Role and Responsibilities: To ensure all paperwork and electronic documentation is completed accurately, including additional vehicle condition reports, signed by the relevant parties in the appropriate places, and submitted where necessary, this will also include the use and management of a handheld electronic device.
You will inspect thoroughly all vehicles for damage, wear and tear, mileage and shortages, and make notations on the relevant paperwork. You will then ensure that damage is countersigned by the contact person at the collection point.
You may on occasion be required to prepare demonstration vehicles for delivery to customers. This will include washing the exterior of vehicles, cleaning the interior, and fuelling if required.
Rate of pay:
Basic – £13.15 per hour
Essential Criteria:
- Well-presented and professional, with strong communication and customer service skills
- Confident using in-car infotainment systems and handheld devices such as tablets and smartphones
- Excellent attention to detail
- A collaborative team player
- Strong communication and administrative abilities
- Highly organised with a methodical approach to tasks
- Able to handle sensitive customer situations with care
- Holds a full, valid driving licence (category B)
Desirable criteria:
Previous experience working within the motor industry eg. sales, body work, in-car infotainment systems
