Location: HMP Eastwood Park, Falfield. GL12 8DB
Salary: £37,870.31 per annum
Contract: Permanent – 39 hrs per week – Mon-Fri
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Carpenter inc Locksmith to join our team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Closed, Category C female prison.

Key Qualifications
- Substantiated experience in a similar role
- Competency in the use and operation of all associated power tools and machinery
- Basic IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
- Up‑to‑date First Aid at Work Qualification
- City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification or substantial experience
- Good Health & Safety knowledge
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
Company and Culture
We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical, time‑bound services to HM Prison Service. We are looking for a Carpenter with a combination of technical skills and a commitment to rehabilitation.
