Location: Bristol, BS16Job Role: Slitting Machine OperatorHours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm – rotatingRole Type: PermanentHourly rate: up to £32,301.00 DOE

Job Responsibilities

• Operating slitting equipment — Safely run and monitor the slitting machine throughout production.
• Verifying materials and machine setup — Ensure all inputs, settings, and specifications match the requirements of each job.
• Inspecting finished products — Carry out quality control checks to confirm output meets standards.
• Supporting additional production lines — Operate other machinery when needed to maintain workflow.
• End‑of‑shift cleaning — Clean and maintain the machine at the close of each shift to keep equipment in good condition.

Candidate Requirements

• Machine operation experience — Background in running and setting up machinery within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Print or packaging knowledge — Understanding of printing or packaging processes is beneficial.
• FLT capability — Forklift truck experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Working under pressure — Comfortable operating in a high‑speed, target‑focused production setting.
