About the role
Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group are looking for a Trainee Office Assistant to join our head office team at South Gyle, in Edinburgh. This is an entry-level role suitable for a recent school or college leaver who wants to start a career in office administration.
You will join a small, experienced team under the supervision of our Financial Controller and be trained across all areas of the office, including our purchase ledger and sales ledger, so you can provide cover and support across the team.
Responsibilities
- Supporting purchase ledger and sales ledger, with full training provided
- Taking payments, including credit card payments
- Filing and archiving documents
- Daily use of Word and Excel
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the right person
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail
- Ordering goods and supplies

Over time you’ll build a working knowledge of every function in the office, giving you a genuinely broad grounding in administration. There is an option to gain a relevant qualification. Randolph Hill will support your development in this role with funding of a college course (1 day per week).
Remuneration
Dunblane From £13.65 per hour £15,615 (based 22 hours per week) pa
