Overview

The Social Work Resources team promotes social welfare and provides effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will:
- Care for older people in a residential setting, providing personal care and support.
- Construct a person-centred support plan, implement, review and evaluate its effectiveness for the service users for whom you have responsibility.
- Contribute to the assessment and review process and administer medicines as prescribed.
- Work shift and weekend schedules as required.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all safeguarding procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an HNC, or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
- Experience in caring for older people, preferably within a residential setting.
- Familiarity with all aspects of personal care and medicines administration.
