Hours: 37hrs per week, permanent

Work Pattern: Early 7:15am – 3:15pm, Late 2:15pm – 10:15pm

Salary / Hourly Rate: £36,365 – £37,329

Overview

The Social Work Resources team promotes social welfare and provides effective care and support to meet the needs of vulnerable people.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Care for older people in a residential setting, providing personal care and support.
  • Construct a person-centred support plan, implement, review and evaluate its effectiveness for the service users for whom you have responsibility.
  • Contribute to the assessment and review process and administer medicines as prescribed.
  • Work shift and weekend schedules as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care or an HNC, or be willing to work towards these qualifications.
  • Experience in caring for older people, preferably within a residential setting.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of personal care and medicines administration.
