Support Worker–Halifax

We’re looking for caring, hands‑on Support Workers who are passionate about enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker you will help people gain more independence in their daily lives while working within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living tasks.
• Teach life‑skills and encourage independence.
• Support the person in accessing their local community and socialising.
• Plan and facilitate activities such as visiting local pubs, playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
• Promote confidence and help individuals achieve their personal goals such as cooking dinner or going on holiday.

Shift Pattern and Pay

Typical shifts: 12‑hour shift, three times per week.

Hourly rate: £12.72 per hour.

Enhanced evening and weekend pay: +£0.50 per hour (terms & conditions apply).

Premium overtime pay: +£1.00 per hour (terms & conditions apply).
