Our Major Injury team in Scotland is seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Support Administrator to join the wider team. This is an excellent opportunity for an administration professional looking to develop their career within a collaborative and supportive legal environment.
Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh (Hybrid Working), with a minimum of 2 day’s working in the office.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Scottish File Opening team with processing instructions for all new matters.
- Ensure files are opened promptly and in line with specific court deadlines.
- Accurately input management information into centralised systems and provide data analysis when required.
- Review datasets to validate data quality and accuracy.
- Prioritise and organise workloads effectively to meet deadlines and service levels.
- Adapt to changing priorities and work flexibly to support business needs.
- Maintain electronic files in accordance with business processes and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Legal Support Assistant or Legal Admin experience would be advantageous for this role or a Law/Legal graduate looking their first legal role.
- Basic to intermediate IT and keyboard skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of document management and case management systems.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and agreed service levels.
- A positive team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
