Role Overview
Role: Contact Centre Coordinator Location: Wrexham (LL11) Job Type: Full Time Pay: £12.83 an hour Hours: 39.5 hours per week. You will work set 8‑hour shifts between 8:00am and 6:30pm, with one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) worked every four weeks. Rotas may occasionally change to meet business needs, with advance notice provided wherever possible.

Following a comprehensive four‑week induction and training programme, you will become a key point of contact for customers, handling inbound telephone enquiries on behalf of a wide range of businesses across sectors including property, legal, healthcare and financial services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of call for all callers, maintaining an upbeat and personable attitude at all times.
- Provide a professional and friendly service, answering customer calls, accurately recording information, and ensuring messages are relayed efficiently using internal systems.
- Handle the comprehensive messaging service, including setting tasks for callbacks, without dealing with billing or account issues.
- Deliver a varied role where no two days are the same, using problem‑solving, multitasking and strong customer‑care skills.
Qualifications
- Confident and professional on the phone.
- Friendly and customer‑focused.
- Resilient and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Competent using computers and entering data accurately.
- Strong communication, listening and problem‑solving skills.
- Previous experience within customer service, contact centres, hospitality, retail or administration beneficial but not essential.
- No previous call handling experience required.
