The Role
As a Panel Beater, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high‑quality vehicle body repairs, ensuring every vehicle is restored safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repair damaged vehicle panels using approved repair methods.
- Remove and replace damaged body panels where required.
- Realign vehicle structures using specialist repair equipment.
- Carry out welding, filling, and metal finishing to manufacturer standards.
- Work closely with Paint Technicians and MET Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle repairs.
- Complete repairs within agreed timescales while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional working environment.
About You
This role would suit an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician / Body Repair Technician who is passionate about producing high-quality repairs.
You should have:
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician, or Body Repair Technician.
- Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/ATA), with ongoing commitment to continuous professional development.
- Strong knowledge of modern body repair techniques and equipment.
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently under time constraints.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A full UK driving licence.
