Description

We are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Data and Compliance Coordinator to lead the administration, data management and quality assurance of our apprenticeship provision. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our apprenticeship programme at Sandwell College.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end‑to‑end data management of apprenticeship provision, ensuring accuracy and completeness of learner records from enrolment to completion.
  • Maintain full compliance with ESFA funding regulations throughout all processes.
  • Lead internal audits and support external inspections to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Manage ILR data using systems like PICS and PDSAT.
  • Respond to audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Issue employer contracts and manage the Apprenticeship Service Account.
  • Coordinate employer incentive payments efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay proactive in adapting to changing funding rules and regulations.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Full Level 3 qualification or substantial relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in apprenticeship data and compliance.
  • Proven track record of managing ILR data using PICS.
  • Experience interpreting PDSAT reports and applying ESFA funding rules.
  • Experience supporting audits and inspections, including Ofsted and ESFA.
  • Familiarity with OneFile and the DfE Apprenticeship Service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels of an organisation.
