Class 1 HGV Driver / Shunter (C+E) – Temp to Perm

Location: Ferrybridge

Pay: £15.91 per hour + Shift Allowance + Overtime

Shifts

• Monday to Thursday: 2:30pm – 10:30pm
• Friday: 1:45pm – 8:30pm

Your Role

• Shunt trailers safely around the yard.
• Ensure trailers are positioned correctly for loading and dispatch.
• Assist with load strapping and securing when required.
• Work closely with the site team to keep operations running efficiently.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and site regulations.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Previous shunting or yard driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 licence points.
• No DD or DR endorsements.
• A positive attitude and team-player mentality.
• Flexibility to occasionally cover alternative shifts is an advantage.
