Community Activator Coach Apprenticeship

Introduction

Thank you for your interest in joining Ignite Sport in the role of Apprentice Sports Coach. In this role you will deliver sports coaching sessions at partner schools during term time and at sports camps during the school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions at partner schools during term time and at sports camps during the school holidays.
• Ensure all activities are inclusive, engaging, and tailored to varying abilities.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safeguarding and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Promote teamwork, fair play, and positive behaviour.
• Inspire the next generation through passionate, child‑centred coaching.
• Act as a positive role model for children.

What We’re Looking For

• Outstanding individuals who are curious, compassionate, and conscientious.
• A passion for sport and working with children, and a high motivation to begin a sports coaching career with a small, caring, and ambitious company.
• Ability to be mentored by an experienced sports coach.
• After apprenticeship, possibility to be offered a sports coaching role with Ignite Sport.
