Volunteer Car Driver – Safe, Caring Community Transport

We are looking for Volunteer Car Drivers based in Shrewsbury/Shropshire to provide safe transportation for patients to non-emergency appointments. Prior experience is not required – just a caring attitude, a 4-door car, and a valid driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).

Main duties

• Drive patients to non-emergency appointments.
• Coordinate with dispatch teams for smooth operations.
• Provide reassurance and support during the journey.
• Foster positive relationships within the community.
• Enjoy autonomy while being supported by a volunteer team.

What we look for

• A valid driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
• A friendly and empathetic demeanour.
• Access to a 4-door car.

• Basic IT skills (smartphone use).
