About the Employer
Bridge Lane Nursery is an OFSTED registered nursery with 66 places for children from 3 months to 5 years old. The nursery is ideal for working parents, opening from 7am-6.30pm for fifty one weeks of the year. They offer full-time day care.
What You’ll Do
Completing a variety of day-to-day childcare tasks to ensure children’s needs, welfare and education are catered for. This can include helping children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing, role-playing and storytelling; liaising with external customers and parents to provide a high level of service. Care needs of the individual child, such as feeding, changing nappies, and administration of medicine, are also responsibilities.
Training Outcome
Develop into a level 3 educator, with the potential of a position upon successful completion. Other prospects include applying for room leader positions, possible management training, springboarding into primary education, paediatric nursing, and continuous development in the current nursery setting.
