Foundation Flooring Apprenticeship

Introduction

Anyone between 16 and 21 can start a foundation apprenticeship. If you’re between 22 and 24, you can start if you:

• Have an EHC plan
• Are in care or have been in care
• Are in prison or have been in prison

About the Employer

What You’ll Do

• Prepare floors (cleaning, levelling, removing old materials)
• Check surface quality and finish to specification
• Follow health and safety procedures on site
• Learn about and maintain tools and equipment
• Communicate with customers and supervisors
• Keep work areas clean and organised

Training Outcome

Carry on doing a full level 2 apprenticeship & Gain employability skills

Apprenticeship Level: Intermediate

Working Arrangements

Working Week: Monday – Friday, times to be confirmed.
