Role Responsibilities
- Deliver adapted and highly differentiated foundation courses and functional skills training to engage vulnerable learners.
- Formulate and implement positive behavioural frameworks alongside trauma‑informed strategies to assist students with emotional dysregulation.
- Collaborate extensively with internal pastoral, safeguarding, and special educational support teams to implement designated intervention plans.
- Oversee standardisation, quality assurance, and internal verification checks to measure the educational impact of specialised provisions.
Essential Requirements
- Holder of, or actively working toward, a recognised post‑compulsory teaching credential such as a Certificate in Education or equivalent.
- Verified proficiency in core areas including a minimum of Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Mathematics.
- Proven track record of managing classrooms and supporting post‑16 learners exhibiting complex behavioural challenges.
- Outstanding interpersonal and time‑management skills with a flexible approach to accommodating occasional out‑of‑hours events.
- Securement of an Enhanced DBS check coupled with a profound commitment to child protection and safety standards. Desired but not essential: possession of a degree‑level qualification or equivalent.
