Job Details

Retail Store Assistant (£13.08 per hour plus benefits) – Location: Highgate shop, Department: Trading, Contract: Permanent, Working hours: Part time, 7.5hours per week. The role reports to the Shop Manager and will be open for internal applications until 26thJuly2026 23:55.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer and supporter service.
• Work as part of the shop team to reach sales and fundraising targets.
• Maintain shop standards, visual presentation, safeguarding compliance and health and safety.
• Build relationships with the local community and Cancer Research UK colleagues.
• Support fundraising events to achieve targets.
• Take keyholder responsibility as required (training provided).

Qualifications & Skills

• Good understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience working in a busy customer service environment.
• Ability to manage own workload and work independently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis.
• Physical ability for manual handling and physical activity.
