Pay Rate: £35,794.37 – £37,047.17

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: East Midlands Gateway – Derby

Shift patterns: Various shifts available: all working 4 on, 4 off on a rolling rota – x3 starting at 4am, x1 starting at 5am, x2 starting at 4pm, x2 starting at 5pm

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised loads to food retail distribution centres and major RDCs.
• Perform multi-drop deliveries nationwide, averaging 2 drops per shift.
• Drive throughout the UK as part of a national delivery network.
• Transport ambient goods on pallets.
• Assist with unloading on approximately 2% of deliveries.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Comply with health and safety standards, the Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 8 months recent Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points on licence.
• Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
