SEN Teaching Assistant Wendover ASAP/September Start (Temp to Perm)

GSL Education is currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming SEN school in Wendover, starting as soon as possible or from September. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Support students with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, and other additional needs on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Help pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and attributes

• Previous experience in education, youth work, care, residential support, or similar settings.
• Patient, resilient, compassionate, and confident in building positive relationships with students and staff.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection; willingness to undergo safer recruitment checks and an enhanced DBS (registered on the Update Service) or to apply for one.

Location: Wendover. Start ASAP or from September. Temp-to-perm with long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
