The Role
We’re looking for an experienced IT Support professional to provide technical support and administration across our multi-site business. The successful candidate will support colleagues and customers, maintain secure and reliable IT systems, administer user accounts, deploy hardware and software, be detail orientated, organised and proactive.
Key Responsibilities:
End User Support:
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software and network issues.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops and peripherals.
- Provide remote and on-site support across Vyta locations.
Administration:
- Administer user accounts, permissions and access controls.
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID and endpoint management.
- Maintain operating system images and application deployment tools.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding activities.
Security & Compliance:
- Maintain endpoint security and updates.
- Work in accordance with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus and company policies.
- Report security risks, incidents.
Project based work & Asset Management:
- Support IT projects and system implementations.
- Manage IT equipment stock, provisioning and lifecycle.
The above is not exhaustive and the postholder may be expected to undertake different duties, in line with business needs.
Essential Criteria
1.Minimum two years’ experience in an IT support or equivalent Level 3 IT qualification.
2.Experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID
3.Experience using an IT service desk/ticketing system.
4.Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
5.Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Desirable Criteria
1.Relevant Microsoft Accreditations or IT based Qualifications
2.Any Experience with Intune, Autopilot or endpoint management.
3.Knowledge of ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
4.Full UK driving licence.
