Head Host, Malmaison, York – SORA Sky Bar
Rate of Pay / Hours: £13.29 per hour + Tronc. 35 hours a week minimum. Contract: Permanent. Location: SORA Sky Bar, Malmaison York

Responsibilities & Qualifications
We’re looking for enthusiastic, bubbly, organised, and meticulous individuals with excellent customer service skills. As Head Host you will manage the flow of guests into SORA to optimise their experience while making effective use of the space. You will need to be an excellent communicator and comfortable dealing with guest enquiries via telephone, email, and face‑to‑face. Liaising with the Front Office team and SORA management, you will be an integral part of making each shift a success.
- Experience leading a team of hosts.
- Experience delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience in high‑volume bars and restaurants (serving 800+ guests a day during summer months).
