Slough (SL2), £15.00 – £16.50 per hour, Days and Night Shifts Available
Shift Patterns
Days: Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pmNights: Monday to Sunday, 10:00pm – 7:00am

Make a Difference in a Child’s Life
We are looking for compassionate and experienced Female Paediatric Complex Care Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a young child with complex healthcare needs in the Slough area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide one-to-one support within a family home, helping to ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing while promoting the highest standards of care.
The successful candidate will become an important part of a supportive, family-centred care team, providing both clinical and emotional support to the child and their family.
About the Client
Our client was born prematurely and has a number of complex medical needs requiring specialist support, including:
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Tracheostomy care – must have experience of ties/tape
- PEG feeding
- Complex mobility needs
- Personal care and daily living support
- Moving and handling
Due to the age and size of the child we can accept candidates with adults experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care within the family home
- Monitor and respond appropriately to seizures and changes in health
- Provide tracheostomy care and ventilation support
- Administer PEG feeds and maintain feeding equipment
- Support with personal care and daily living activities
- Assist with moving and handling requirements
- Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Promote the child’s comfort, engagement, and overall wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
- PEG feeding experience
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach
- Ability to recognise deterioration and elevate concerns appropriately
- Strong understanding of safeguarding
- Full right to work in the UK
