We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our busy, highly respected main dealer aftersales workshop in Clevedon. Operating in a clean, modern, and high-spec franchise environment, we handle everything from advanced brand diagnostics to complex mechanical repairs. We provide direct access to fully funded, certified manufacturer training pathways, high earning potential, and a highly favorable weekend rota to keep your work-life balance intact.

- The Pay: £30,000 – £35,000 basic per year (tailored to your experience and skills) with On-Target Earnings (OTE) on top.

Your Day-to-Day
Working as a core member of our technical team in Clevedon, you will:
- Carry out routine manufacturer servicing, safety inspections, and complex mechanical repairs to strict brand standards.
- Use high-spec factory diagnostic tools and software to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical, electrical, and mechanical faults.
- Maintain clean, precise, and methodical workmanship to deliver high-quality, “first-time fix” results on every vehicle.
- Work productively within given timescales to keep the workshop running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
- Take an active part in specialized brand training and work alongside a team of expert technicians.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Credentials: You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized automotive qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent preferred).
- The Experience: A proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician, Car Mechanic, or Service Technician in a professional garage setting.
- The Mindset: A motivated, dedicated professional with high attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and a team-player attitude.
- The Basics: A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
