METTLER TOLEDO is a global manufacturer with over 18,000 employees worldwide that specialises in analytical and precision instruments for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. At our unit in Royston we design and manufacture X‑ray systems used in food and pharmaceutical applications worldwide. We’re looking for a driven and enthusiastic individual to join our Engineering Maintenance Technician (EMT) Apprenticeship Programme, starting in September2026.
Program Details
- Rotate throughout the factory to gain hands‑on experience in manufacturing and servicing X‑ray systems while attending Cambridge Regional College for classroom‑based learning.
- In the final year, complete an end‑point assessment (EPA) that includes a project, multiple‑choice test and professional discussion after you have completed all training and gained the requisite skills and knowledge.
- Successful completion of the EPA leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
- The role offers a structured development path into manufacturing of X‑ray systems that could lead to a field‑based service engineer role within the Product Inspection division.
Course length: 42‑48months. Start date: September2026.
