Trainee & Experienced Windscreen Technicians – Luton

Job Overview

This is a regular contract position for both trainee and experienced vehicle glass technicians at Autoglass® and Laddaw®. Working hours are annualised, roughly 40 hours per week, with operations Monday–Saturday between 7:30am and 6:00pm. The role may be based in a centre or on the road, meeting customers at their homes or workplaces.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace vehicle glass using industry‑leading tools and equipment.
• Meet customers at their home or workplace and offer efficient service.
• Provide excellent customer experience and solve problems independently.
• Support sales of value‑added products such as wipers and other accessories.

Qualifications

• Genuine people‑person who enjoys working with customers.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Proof of right to work in the UK.
• Experience fitting vehicle glass (for experienced candidates).

Training & Development

• Full training programme for trainees.
• IMI‑recognised Technician qualification.
• Ongoing development to become a skilled, experienced fitter.
• Training to fit and sell value‑added products.
