Mechanical Electrical Fitter – HV Substation Maintenance

National Grid is seeking Mechanical Electrical Fitters for hands-on maintenance and fault-finding on high‑voltage substations. You’ll work outdoors, carrying out inspections, repairs and refurbishments to keep critical infrastructure operating safely and reliably.

Successful candidates will have Level 2/3 mechanical/electrical apprenticeships (or equivalent NVQ), strong problem-solving skills, and a full UK driving licence. Training opportunities and annual overtime are provided.
