Electrician in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Electrician to join our team on an upcoming commercial build. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality electrical installations while working safely and efficiently on active construction sites.

Electrician Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems on a commercial construction project
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Install containment systems, cable trays, conduits, wiring, and switchgear
• Carry out first and second fix electrical work
• Test, inspect, and troubleshoot installations where required
• Coordinate with site managers and other trades to meet programme deadlines
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical and safety standards

Electrician Requirements

• Gold ECS
• Previous experience on commercial construction projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices
• IPAF / PASMA (advantageous but not essential)
