Salary: £22,800.00 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
Start: October 2026

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant Outreach to provide vital support to pupils both on‑site and within the local community. This is a dynamic role where you’ll help students engage with learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills — whether in school, at home, or in alternative provision settings.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting pupils across a range of learning environments, including community settings and students’ homes
- Working under the guidance of the Outreach Lead and Deputy Principal to deliver personalised learning programmes
- Helping to create purposeful, supportive, and inclusive learning spaces wherever learning takes place
- Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and engagement in students with diverse needs
- Keeping accurate records of progress and contributing to assessments and reports
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and wider staff to meet individual pupil needs
- Promoting safeguarding, welfare, and equal opportunities at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience supporting children or young people in educational or learning environments
- Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
- Confidence completing general administrative tasks
- Training or experience in relevant curriculum or learning strategies
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to respond to emerging situations
