Job Description
This Human Resources Officer role is based in Derby and is part of the People and Culture team reporting to the Manager Human Resources. The position involves a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and employee lifecycle administration.
Salary: $82,279 plus allowances up to $16,000 (total cash value up to $98,383). Superannuation and benefits such as salary sacrifice, novated leasing and health and wellbeing initiatives are included.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day HR administration and support to managers and employees.
- Assist with recruitment activities: advertising, interviews and employment documentation.
- Organise onboarding, inductions, probation and exit processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR systems.
- Prepare correspondence and routine HR documentation.
- Support performance and employee lifecycle processes.
- Assist with training administration, compliance and record keeping.
- Apply initiative and problem‑solving skills to address routine HR enquiries.
- Work closely with teams organisation‑wide to support positive workplace outcomes.
