This is your chance to join a highly regarded council in the Channel Islands, as a residential support worker, for a great pay rate of £22.50/h. This role is outside IR35, meaning an increase in your take home pay, and you will also get travel and accommodation paid for.

The short breaks service provides care for children with complex needs and medical conditions. In this role you will support young people with personal care in residential settings and be part of a close‑knit team supervised by supportive management.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to young people with complex needs in residential settings.
• Support person‑centred planning and care delivery.
• Manage medication administration and PEG feeding.
• Communicate effectively with non‑verbal and other communication‑needs individuals.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Full and clean driver’s licence.
• Experience with complex physical and learning disabilities, autism, complex medical conditions, and communication needs.
