We’re looking for a Major Events Coordinator provide support and day-to-day coordination of all major event days. In this exciting role you will plan and negotiate with clients, arrange functions and events. As Major Events Coordinator you will also liaise with the operations team to ensure the smooth running of the day and act to combat any issues or complaints that may arise. A key part of your role will be to assist when required to ensure all administration duties for the Senior Management team are tended to.

Major Events Coordinator – The Role
- Ensures all catering services exceed customer expectations.
- Has location specific food and wine knowledge.
- Maintains a strong relationship with client during the coordination, execution, final payment, and evaluation stages of services.
- Maintains strong relationships with operating departments to deliver “The Twickenham Experience” in the guest experience.
- To actively continue and pursue your personal development.

- To be loyal to and supportive of the TEL team, which includes any temporary members of staff you have dealings with.
- To effectively communicate with all members of the team.
- Complete any objectives agreed in your appraisal by their due date.
- Provide direct liaison with client, customer to ensure clear communications of each party’s needs and expectations.
- Deal with all customer comments in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action, turning any negative customer experiences into positive ones.
- Ensure day-to-day delivery of catering services as advised to standards set within the business.
- Have knowledge of all venue products and be able to advise the customer in a professional, helpful manner.
- Act as post match client liaison to ensure all aspects of feedback are reacted upon or resolved.
- Must retain and record key account information at all time.
- Must take ownership of all collateral relating to the Major Events operations.
- Ensure an excellent relationship with the kitchen is maintained.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the TEL C & E sales team.
- Maintain an excellent relationship with the RFU box team.
- Liaise with TEL official Hospitality Event Sales team and Operations team.
- Liaise with RFU ticket office and supervising the ticketing and parking of all TEL hospitality.
- Support the event with all event coordination team.
- Must have an excellent telephone manner. Answering the telephone as first point of contact for all Twickenham Experience Ltd clients. To include answering the initial telephone call, directing to the appropriate member of staff, taking telephone messages and passing on in a timely manner.
- Meeting and greeting Twickenham Experience Ltd clients and visitors.
- Coordinating and managing general administration as required to meets the needs of Twickenham Experience Ltd management team.
- Sourcing, booking and managing facility managers and hostesses.
- Coordinate, collate and distribute guest feedback.

- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft and CRM products
