Join Our Team as a Class 1 HGV Night Trunk Driver

About us: Bullet Express is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This is a full‑time holiday cover position, Monday to Friday, so location and double/single man will vary from week to week.

Trunk Locations and Start Times

• Double Man (5 pm or 6 pm) – Hinckley
• Single Man (5:30 pm or 6:30 pm) – Rochdale
• Single Man (6 pm) – Bradford
• Single Man (8 pm) – Cairnryan
• Single Man (7 pm) – Lymm Changeover

Rates of Pay

• Double Man Trunk – £201.95 per shift (£1009.75 weekly)
• Single Man Trunks – £163.56 per shift (£817.80 weekly)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete and submit all work‑related paperwork at the end of each shift.
• Use handheld/PDA to accurately record data.
• Perform thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Report any non‑conformities or near misses to your line manager promptly.

Experience & Personal Qualities

• Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment.
• Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently.

Licence/Certification

• Digital Tacho Card (Required)
• Appropriate Driving License – Class 1 (Required)
• Driver CPC (Required)
• Comprehensive knowledge of driver regulations (Required)
