About the Role
- Teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, including subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Education.
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can succeed.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress through effective feedback and intervention.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share outstanding teaching practice.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities and extracurricular activities.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or due to achieve QTS by September 2026.
- A degree in History, Geography, Religious Education or a related Humanities subject.
- A genuine passion for teaching and learning.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- High expectations of student achievement, behaviour and personal development.
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous professional development.
