Job Description

To administer the resolution of customer invoices queries subsequently issuing credit notes where applicable.

To proactively contact customers via telephone and email to secure payment commitments for invoices ensuring they are paid to agreed payment terms.

Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility

  • Investigate customer invoice queries against clearly defined policies and administer credit notes where appropriate.
  • Manage accounts receivable ledger, proactively contacting customers via telephone and email to ensure invoices are paid to agreed payment terms
  • Manage inbound calls and email relating to all of the above areas ensuring our customers expectations are always appropriately met
  • Actively engage with internal departments such as Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Services and Finance where appropriate to ensure all of the above are achieved
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with agreed timescales ensuring all defined quality standards are met.
  • Complete adhoc tasks in relation to the above when appropriate

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

Candidates must have achieved GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English.

Apprentices must have achieved a pass at GCSE/Level 2 in Maths and English before they can complete their final exams.

Providers for the chosen qualification may also set their own eligibility criteria that candidates must meet.

Completion of a Level 3 Business Admin qualification.

Additional Information

Familiar with Google Workspace (GMail/GSheet) or Microsoft Office package (Word and Excel primarily)

Independently motivated, with the ability to take on tasks and duties without immediate direction

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

High attention to detail to produce accurate and quality work

An individual who has the ability to welcome and adapt to change, within a forward thinking business.
