About the CCAF
The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) is a multi‑disciplinary research institute established within Cambridge Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. The CCAF is an internationally renowned centre of excellence, noted for its pioneering market and regulatory research in alternative finance.
Learning Technologist – Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and team‑orientated professional to join the CCAF. The Learning Technologist works in partnership with students and staff to deliver digital education enhancements to augment the Capacity Building and Education (CB&E) team at CCAF educational provision, and its student experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with students and staff to deliver digital education enhancements.
- Contribute to projects and provide support, expert guidance and training for a range of tools, pedagogic practices and digital capabilities.
- Investigate, promote and disseminate effective digital education approaches within CB&E.
- Use data and insights to drive continuous improvement, analysing participant feedback, course data, and engagement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions.
- Develop reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision‑making.
- Contribute to market research, identifying trends, opportunities and innovations in digital learning, including the use of AI and new platforms.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm, knowledge and experience of using and supporting technology in an educational setting.
- Experience working with a VLE or other enterprise‑level digital learning environment, including for assessment and feedback.
- Ability to meet deadlines, work independently and as part of a team, and manage your own workload.
- Proven experience of developing relationships with a variety of stakeholders and staff at different levels.
