Job Details

• Salary: $36.00 hourly
• Hours: 30 to 40 per week
• Employment type: Full-time, Term or contract
• Shift: Early morning, Morning, Day, Shift

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. Remote work is not available.

Work Setting

• Aerospace (Aviation and Aerospace industry)

Responsibilities

• Clean work area
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications
• Clean and maintain equipment
• Operate electroplating equipment to coat metal, hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and/or spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts
• Prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
• Select appropriate paint or mix paints
• Tend automatic metal coating machines which convey objects through cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
• Tend or operate equipment to prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings
• Tend or operate equipment to spray or coat
