If this is you, consider joining the Newground Together Youth Team (NYT) as a Sessional Youth Worker in Blackburn.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of a range of youth activities and programmes.
- Engage with young people in a positive, supportive, and engaging manner.
- Provide guidance, advice, and support to young people.
- Help develop and maintain positive relationships with young people and their families.
- Support the youth team in organising and supervising outings, trips, and events.
- Contribute to the evaluation and monitoring of youth programmes to ensure effectiveness and impact.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young people and making a positive impact in their lives.
- Engaging, approachable, and able to build rapport with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, understanding, and able to provide guidance and support.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and understand issues that impact young people’s lives.

- Hourly Rate: £12.71 per hour from 1 April 2026.
